About

This is a free one-day course regarding lymphedema education with didactic and laboratory activities for participants. The course will be taught by one certified lymphedema occupational therapist and one certified lymphedema physical therapist with break-out opportunities by subject area.

The intention of the course is to provide practitioners across the Commonwealth with foundational knowledge of lymphedema to incorporate directly into practice and build capacity in Virginia. OT and PT faculty will be able to incorporate content into their curriculum at their discretion to train burgeoning providers.

There will be a pre- and post knowledge survey with lunch and parking provided. Participants will receive a gift card at the conclusion of the course.

Registration is required. Please complete a registration request to request attendance.

Limited travel awards are available for individuals who are 3+ hours from Richmond. Please indicate your interest in consideration for a travel award in your registration.
